CONTRIBUTIONS ONLY, and deliberately so rather than by oversight: the site build that writes these exports resolves candidates for ONE cycle at a time, so run against a 13-cycle archive it yields the full donor table and nothing else. The empty expenditure / filing / loan / summary tables are DROPPED from this file instead of shipped hollow, so a table you can see is a table with data in it. Prior-cycle spending is not published here yet. Each row carries its own election_cycle_year, candidate_name and office_name, so the era is always answerable within the row. Kept separate from Tennessee (Federal) — which is the CURRENT cycle and has the full schema — rather than folded in; the two do not join, by design. Not refreshed nightly. It is a settled record, rebuilt by hand only when the archive itself is corrected.
